As one of two co-assistant Writing Program Administrators for Iowa State University’s large (7500 students a year) foundational communication courses (ISUComm), I

• Assisted with TA orientation, 3 years       
• Participated in program assessment, 2 years
• Developed the tool for program assessment
• Helped revise common FYC assignments and rubrics
• Offered reflection and ePortfolio workshops to instructors
• Advised instructors about implementing ePortfolios
• Answered WPA-directed emails from students
• Evaluated students who wanted to test out of FYC
• Assisted with answering grade appeals
• Mentored a TA struggling with lesson planning

I helped design and promote a new emphasis in our multimodal curriculum; after we conducted the 2015 programmatic assessment, we realized our emphasis on reflection needed to be refined to promote deeper learning through better reflective practices.
